Reclaiming the Gospel for Love, Inclusion, & Justice

Everyone Is Welcome written on chalkboard inviting people to The Inclusive Christian

At The Inclusive Christian, our mission is simple: to help reclaim the Gospel by boldly proclaiming the radical love of God for all people.

In a world where Christianity has often been co-opted by fear, division, and the pursuit of power, we stand against the harmful theologies and ideologies that have inflicted profound pain in the name of faith. We are striving to reclaim the Gospel—refusing to let voices of judgment, control, and condemnation define Christianity or exclude anyone from its embrace.

That’s why we reject the use of Christianity to judge, exclude, or condemn anyone because of who they are or where they’ve been. Just as we reject the manipulation of faith to gain power or privilege.

Grounded in Progressive Christianity, The Inclusive Christian embraces curiosity, welcomes questions, and celebrates diversity. We affirm that God’s love transcends all boundaries—no conditions, no exceptions.

So if your picture of the Church is one of judgment and division–we get it. And if you’ve been told you don’t belong, please hear us say, “You do.” Together, let’s (re)discover a faith rooted in grace, inclusion, and the relentless, transformative love of God.

Why Progressive Christianity Matters

Because love should never be the exception.

Love your neighbor as yourself. It’s one of the clearest teachings in all of Scripture. Yet, time and again, the Church—and the loudest voices claiming to represent Christianity—have done the opposite. They’ve used religion to divide, shame, and exclude.

As a result, both around the world and right here at home, Christianity is being weaponized to marginalize the poor, oppress LGBTQ+ people, deny women’s rights, stoke racial and nationalist fear, and defend systems of power and control. For many, that distorted version of faith is the only one they’ve ever encountered.

This matters because people’s dignity, safety, and sense of belonging are at stake. Too many have walked away from faith not because they stopped believing in God, but because they were told God stopped believing in them.

We’re here to change that. To reclaim the Gospel as good news again for everyone. And to create a community where no one is left out.
